2007 Avon Foundation Awards Celebration
The seventh annual Avon Foundation Awards Celebration took place on Tuesday, October 30 at 583 Park Avenue, in New York City. The event was hosted by Andrea Jung, Chairman and CEO, Avon Products, Inc., with a special performance by Avon Imari brand spokesperson, Jennifer Hudson. The annual gala has raised over $14 million since its inception in 2001.
2006 Avon Foundation Awards Celebration
The sixth annual Avon Foundation Awards
Celebration took place on Monday, October 30, 2006 at the New York
State Theater, Lincoln Center in New York City. The event featured
Lynn Sherr, ABC 20/20 correspondent, Olympic figure skater Emily
Hughes, Primetime’s John Quiñones, and hosts, Andrea Jung, Chairman
and CEO, Avon Products, Inc. and Carol Kurzig, Executive Director,
Avon Foundation. The event culminated with a rocking musical
performance by Grammy Award-nominated singer Fantasia Barrino, the
third-season winner of the hit show American Idol, and enjoying the
performance along with more than 600 attendees was surprise guest
Missy Elliott, Grammy Award-winning rap and hip hop star. The annual
Awards have raised nearly $12 million since its inception in 2001,
including $2 million raised in this event.

Avon Foundation 50th Anniversary Awards Celebration
The
Avon Foundation celebrated its 50th anniversary with a spectacular
and inspirational Awards Celebration marking the half-century
milestone and raising $2 million to help save lives.
The Avon Foundation 50th Anniversary Awards Celebration took place on
Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the American Museum of Natural History
in New York City. The fabulous Hall of Ocean Life, Rose Center and
LeFrak Imax Theatre were the sites of the evening’s activities. The
stunning event was co-hosted by Andrea Jung, Avon Chairman and CEO,
and Kathleen Walas, President, Avon Foundation. This marks the fifth
year of the awards gala, which has raised over $10 million since its
inception in 2001, including this year’s $2 million.

Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer
The fourth Avon Foundation Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer Awards Celebration on November 8, 2004 honored leaders in the fight against breast cancer. The New York City event included performances by two multi-platinum recording artists: award-winning singer and actor Harry Connick, Jr. and his Big Band, and Vanessa Carlton. The event raised $2.2 million for access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer.

After the Sunset Movie Premiere and Bahamian Celebration
New Line Cinema, in association with the Avon Foundation,
in November 2004 hosted the North American premiere of After the Sunset, a New Line Cinema film starring:
Salma Hayek
Pierce Brosnan
Woody Harrelson
Don Cheadle
The premiere benefited the President’s Family Justice Center in Brooklyn, New York, a project of the New York City Office to Combat Domestic Violence in cooperation with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.
The Family Justice Center is one of the first funded beneficiaries of the Avon Foundation
Speak Out Against Domestic Violence program.
