More than 350 scientists and technicians work in Avon's Global R&D Center in Suffern, New York, near New York City. These beauty innovators take a multi-disciplined approach in developing fragrances, makeup, skincare and hair-care products that are high-tech, high-quality and highly appealing to consumers around the world.
Avon has seven global satellite R&D facilities, including the newly opened center in Shanghai, which is Avon's largest R&D facility outside the United States and earned a coveted LEED Platinum certification. These regional R&D centers enable Avon scientists to bring both global and geographic-specific perspectives in creating products for women locally and beyond.
